The Mercury Room's popularity did not go unnoticed. Playboy magazine, named it one of the "top nightclubs in America," and Houston Business Journal's Executive Dining Guide Reader's Poll it called it "the number one nightclub," to name a few of the many accolades the club has received. The club remains a hot nightspot, where more than 1,000 people revel in the club on a busy night.
